High Concept
A washed-up Elvis impersonator named Arthur "The King" Pendelton, his high-strung booking agent Morty, and a stoic, fierce grandmother named Beatrice are riding in a stretch limo through Las Vegas when they're carjacked by a bumbling young casino thief. What follows is a claustrophobic comedy of escalating absurdity as they barrel through the desert, discover the thief stole a briefcase full of headshots instead of cash, talk their way past a State Trooper, and find unlikely solidarity on the open road at dawn.

Character Casting
Arthur "The King" Pendelton
A washed-up, exhausted Elvis impersonator in his mid-50s. Performing at ever-smaller venues, clinging to the dream of "ascending the throne." Behind the sweat and smeared eyeliner, there's genuine warmth and surprising grace under pressure.
Morty (The Agent)
Arthur's high-strung, nervous talent agent in his late 40s. Desperately trying to book Arthur at the Fremont Street casino. Clutches a scuffed leather briefcase full of headshots and half-eaten pastrami sandwiches.
Beatrice
A stoic, fierce, wealthy grandmother in her late 70s who suffers no fools. Just won big on the slots. Takes command during the crisis with the authority of someone who has survived far worse.
The Thief
A pathetic, young amateur criminal in his early 20s, completely out of his depth. Attempted to rob the Bellagio but grabbed the wrong briefcase. Breaks down crying when he realizes his failure.
The State Trooper
A stern, imposing authority figure who pulls the limo over for a broken taillight. The moment of maximum tension — one wrong move and everyone goes down for armed robbery.
Narrative Flow (Beat Sheet)
Scene 1: The Hijacking
Arthur and Morty argue about their failing careers in the back of a limo. A masked thief drops the partition and holds them at gunpoint. Beatrice, hidden in the shadows, clutches her bucket of slot winnings and is not impressed.
Scene 2: The Getaway & The Reveal
The thief accelerates out of the city. He reveals he stole a briefcase from a casino — only for Morty to realize it's his promotional materials, not cash. The thief removes his mask and breaks down sobbing. Arthur recognizes a kindred spirit.
Scene 3: The Pullover
Police sirens approach. Beatrice takes command, hiding the thief and making Arthur drive. A State Trooper pulls them over for a broken taillight. Arthur slips into his Elvis persona and charms their way out of it.
Scene 4: The Open Road
Safe at last. Arthur turns on the radio — "Hound Dog" plays. As the sun rises over the Mojave, Arthur drives into the dawn, feeling like a king for the first time in a decade.
