High Concept
To humans, Desk 4B is simply a messy workstation in a cubicle farm. To its inhabitants, it is an entire continent fraught with political tension, geographical hazards, and existential dread. When the Big Boss's Quarterly Review looms, Stanton the stapler (self-appointed Desk Manager) must "optimize to maximum synergy" — which means organizing a chaotic stack of takeout menus dangling over the Abyss (the edge of the desk). A claymation mockumentary filmed with the deadly seriousness of a prestige documentary, where office supplies navigate corporate politics, existential crises, and the terrifying descent of The Human Hand.

Character Casting
Stanton (The Stapler)
Self-appointed Chief Operational Organizer of Desk 4B. A heavy, vintage, all-black metal stapler who believes he's a four-star general in a theater of war. Speaks exclusively in corporate jargon to describe the simplest tasks.
Clippy (The Paperclip)
The intern. A standard silver paperclip with imposter syndrome. Desperate to please, terrified of making a mistake. 0.8mm of zinc-galvanized steel wire who saves the day through an act of structural heroism.
Highlighter (The Yellow Highlighter)
The cynical veteran. Has survived fourteen quarterly reviews. Knows exactly what he is — a tool to make things yellow — and refuses to do anything outside his incredibly narrow job description.
Narrative Flow (Beat Sheet)
Act I: The Gathering Storm
Establishing the world of Desk 4B. Stanton briefs the camera on the stakes. Clippy hyperventilates about losing his tension. Highlighter refuses to care. "I just make words yellow. That's it."
Act II: The Discovery of the Anomaly
Stanton discovers the unsecured takeout menus near the Abyss. "Category 5 operational failure." He tries to mobilize the team. Highlighter flatly refuses. "You have got the wrong demographic." It's just Stanton and Clippy.
Act III: The Futile Mobilization
A deadly-serious training montage. "Weaponize your tension! BE THE BINDING!" Clippy can't clamp anything. Stanton tries to staple the inch-thick stack — his jaw capacity is only 40 pages. "I'm just... standard." Despair.
Act IV: The Crisis & the Leap of Faith
The HVAC hurricane hits. Menus slide toward the Abyss. Clippy sprints across the keyboard in ultra-slow motion, leaps, and clamps down on the falling menus. His wire body bows past the point of elasticity. He holds.
Act V: The Resolution
The Human Hand descends. It ignores everything and grabs Highlighter to mark a random email. Stanton spins the narrative: "We won." Clippy hangs mangled over the Abyss: "Do paperclips get PTO? Because I think I'm stuck here."
