Technical Notes
- Veo API requires GCS URIs — from-frames will not accept local file paths for images. All storyboard frames were pre-uploaded to
gs://ptone-emblem-hackathon-artifacts/lambda/storyboard/ - Timeout handling — 3 clips (1.2, 3.3, 3.6) timed out on first attempt (5 min limit). All succeeded on immediate retry. Likely API congestion, not prompt issues.
- Face morphing mitigation — Shot 3.6 ECU showed face doubling/ghosting. Fixed with anti-morph prompt strategy: “single man’s face”, “one continuous shot, no cuts, no transitions, fixed camera position”. Validated by Editor QC.
- Extend model — Only
veo-3.1-lite-generate-001supports extend. Output includes original+extension (no concatenation needed). Adds exactly 7s. - Audio treatment — DIALOGUE/COMPOUND shots use
generate-audio=truefor native Veo lip-sync. SILENT and VO shots usegenerate-audio=false.
